Double Page Spread Flat Plan
Title
The title will be the band name in a large font that goes onto both pages, I will either use the same font that is used throughout the magazine (CF Punk Forever) or I will use a custom font that the band uses.
Sub title
The subtitle will tell the reader that the band is releasing a new album and that they are talking about it in this article.
Main Image
The main image will be of a band member playing an instrument.
Intro
The introductory paragraph will give the reader some information about the band and ho they are.
Article
The article will be an interview with the band about the album they are releasing and give the reader some insight into the album and what the songs are about
Overall Layout
I will use the left page to place all of the information on and the article and that will leave the right page for a large image that will catch the readers attention and make them read into the article.
The article will be split into three columns that divide the page, this will make the article easier to read.

Image editing - Double page spread
After Editing
I zoomed in on the image to focus on the guitarist and guitar as this was what I wanted to show as representing the studio as he is recording in the image. I raised the contrast an brightness so that again the main focus was the guitarist and guitar.
I did this using the image adjustments tool.
I found a level I liked that I thought removed enough of the background but also still left some of the studio (for example you can still see the mac keyboard) to give a nice effect.
I added more distortion to the image because I wanted a vintage look to the studio image as i thought it gave it more character and this was a good effect to me. I did this using the overlay brush on a white colour with a low opacity as this creates distortion.

Website Flat Plan 2
The Masthead will use the same font as the magazine to continue brand identity.
The navigation bar will be in a column on the left hand side of the website, this makes it easy to fins and means that i can list more pages than I would be able to with a horizontal navigation bar. This makes it very user friendly and easy to use the website.
The middle column will consist of an image for the article and then the beginning of the article.

Website Flat Plan 1
The Masthead will use the same font as the font the masthead of the magazine as this will continue brand identity across both platforms.
I plan to make the Navigation bar as user friendly as possible as it will make the website easier to use and more appealing to the readers.
The title section of the website will also have social media links to Facebook and Twitter so that the readers can keep up to date on the latest stories.
I have used a three column layout design which allows me to show a lot of stories and things that may be of interest to the readers without wasting any space.
The first column (Left) will be the largest of the columns as it will feature the latest stories that have been uploaded to the site by the editors. Each article will have an accompanying image and then a small section from the start of the article that will pull the readers in.
The second column (Center) will feature 'Top lists' these will be stories that the readers will be interested in such as 'The top 20 songs you must listen to'
The third column will be adverts as all websites use them and they are usually in this location.

Todays Work 4th December
Today I have been working on photoshop to create my magazine, I have made a lot of progress on the cover and the contents page and have started to layout the Double page spread.
I have been initially working on the layouts to make sure they are good before i start to add content to the magazine.

Costumes, Hair and Props
Costume and Hair
As this is a casual photo shoot for a band recording in their studio they will just be wearing their normal clothing for this environment e.g. jeans, t-shirt and jackets as I want the photos to look as natural as possible as for hair I have not asked for anything specific as I felt it was unnecessary.
Follow Chris's board Magazine clothing on Pinterest.
Props
A lot of the props that will be needed for my photo shoot will already be in my location for the photo shoot as the studio I will be using will already have the instruments and recording equipment.
Examples of Props
Drum set/ PA system
Guitars
